Born and raised in Montreal, Yoakim played chess competitively till the age of 17. He started studying finance and the stock market at age 14 after the movie The Wolf of Wall Street sparked his curiosity. He quickly became interested in investing in assets ranging from stocks to cryptocurrencies. To learn more about finance and meet other smart individuals with similar interests, he chose to pursue a Finance Major at McGill and then got accepted in the HIM program. During his free time, he goes to the gym, trade NFTs and analyze financial markets.
