By taking the Honours Investment Management program, students complete a more wholistic finance curriculum than the typical finance student at McGill. Upon graduation, students are recognized with the title of "Honours" on their degree. They are also accredited for FINE440 and FINE450, which are HIM exclusive.

FINE440 and FINE450 are credit compensation for the work HIM students complete as a part of their role in Desautels Capital Management.
FINE 440 is given as credit to first year HIM students, while FINE 450 is for second year students.
See the "portfolio" tab for a description of the analyst role.

*Assuming U0 requirements are satisfied and 10 core courses are completed prior to first semester in HIM. There is plenty of flexibility, and this is only one permutation!
This is illustrative and not necessarily applicable to all students, always consult with an advisor. SCHEDULES VARY BY INDIVIDUAL (especially the choices for blue and yellow)

Career Advisor - Danielle Dagenais

HIM students have additional resources as one of the career coaches who works with masters students also assists HIM students! Danielle Dagenais is available to mentor students (especially incoming juniors) on their resume, cover letter and mock interviews leading up to recruiting season.
