From Haitian origins, Alyson was born and raised in Montreal where her love for sports took root. While she explored various athletic pursuits, her dedication to speed skating steadily grew. In 2016, she secured a spot on the National Team, embarking on a consistent journey of competitions within the World Cup circuit, and ultimately qualifying for the Beijing Olympic Winter Games in 2022 where she finished in the top 10. Alyson always had an interest in finance but wasn't really exposed to it growing up. During her first year at McGill, she joined the McGill Investment Club and participated in their Women in Finance Convention, which fueled her desire to learn more. The unique experiential learning program and opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals drew her to HIM. She found the FIG sector particularly interesting because of its dynamic nature and close connection to macroeconomic factors. In her free time, you can find Alyson dancing to afro beats, being outdoors or spending time with friends and family.
