Owen was born and raised in Toronto, playing a variety of sports growing up. He has always been interested in numbers and problem-solving, originally planning on pursuing mathematics at university. It wasn’t until a class in his final year of high school that he began learning about the field and testing his knowledge with a stock trading simulation. Owen’s interests include travelling, cooking, playing/watching hockey and looking at sports stats during class.
