Born in Colombia and raised in the small town of Sherbrooke, Juan Manuel developed an interest in mathematics from an early age. To explore the practical side of math, he joined a personal finance course in high school. There, he created and monitored a mock fund, which sparked his interest in investing. Wanting to combine his interest in math and investing, he joined McGill as a finance major. Later, he joined the HIM program to deepen his technical knowledge. When he isn’t cooking a model on excel, you will find him playing soccer with his friends or playing video games.
