As a child, Amélie would never have guessed that she would pursue a career in finance. Her family is from Mexico, but she grew up in a small town in the south of France. Growing up, she spent most of her time with her city’s track & field team, while also working as a technical assistant on short film sets and in theaters. Amélie developed an interest in finance through film production, where she found the financing aspect particularly compelling. She decided to join HIM as she was seeking a balance between quantitative and qualitative analysis.
