Fabian was born in Hong Kong and raised on the west coast of Canada. His interest in investing evolved from a simple curiosity about market fluctuations. This curiosity led to significant losses during the Canadian cannabis bubble, teaching him the critical importance of analyzing downside risk. Along with his focus on mitigating risk, Fabian developed a strong interest in Fixed Income, drawn by the opportunity to better understand a multitude of industries and macroeconomic factors.
