Growing up, Lucas was passionate about history and mathematics. He discovered investing after learning about the Black Scholes formula for a high school math project and was immediately hooked. He felt it blended the skill sets of his two favourite subjects: the quantitative aspects of mathematics with the qualitative reasoning of history. Motivated by this interest, Lucas chose to attend McGill primarily for the Honours in Investment Management program. Outside of school, you can find him competing for McGill's cross-country running team, skiing or reading about the Cold War.
