Maxime was born and raised in Québec City and developed an interest in finance when his dad showed him the basics of how to buy a stock the summer of his 15th birthday. This sparked his passion for analyzing investment opportunities, understanding macroeconomic concepts, and testing out his theses in his own personal account. The humbling aspect of the stock market deepened his interest in the field, ultimately leading him to apply to McGill for a chance to join the Honours in Investment Management program. Outside of finance, Maxime enjoys playing guitar, skiing, traveling, and drinking coffee.
