Born and raised in Montreal, Maya had always dreamed of being a lawyer because she loves to argue about everything. These life aspirations came crawling down when she entered Cegep and realized she hated reading, and loved numbers. Maya switched her focus to the markets, which led her to join McGill as a finance major, and later HIM, eager to learn more about portfolio management. Being the number one oil fan, Maya joined the energy sector, where she is currently enjoying her work and seniors. When she’s not yapping about Saudi Aramco, Maya loves going out with friends, riding horses, watching the habs lose and playing NYT games.
