Born and raised in the suburbs of Montreal, Matthew spent most of his childhood playing hockey in the winter and baseball in the summer with his friends. His interest in business and entrepreneurship began early on, inspired by watching his parents successfully run a small business for over 16 years. After completing his studies in applied sciences in CEGEP, he made the leap to Desautels in the winter of 2024 to pursue a degree in Finance, and eventually join the HIM program. When he’s not commuting to campus, Matthew enjoys staying active at the gym, watching sports, and the occasional late-night poker game.
